Scholarships to Study in Sweden
Sweden has been a highly developed country known for its excellence in every aspect of life. Education is not an exception. Students from all over the world aspire to study in Sweden where more than 1000 degree programs are taught in English. International students have the freedom to work in Sweden while they are studying. However, Sweden is also one of the most expensive countries in the world and due to the exorbitant cost of living in Sweden, international students show reluctance towards applying to Swedish universities. Until 2020, the Swedish education system did not charge tuition fees but recently the government passed laws that mandate charging tuition fees to Non-EU/EEA students to be supplemented by the Swedish Scholarship Programs. These scholarships are usually in the form of tuition waivers for foreign students.
