#Career Outlook
The Health sciences sector has always been one of the largest sectors in terms of significant growth and fast-growing occupations. According to the US Department of Labor, the rate of growth in occupations for health science jobs is around 14% during the year 2018 – 2028. This growth is projected to create more jobs which are around 1.9 million new jobs than any of the other professional groups. The reason for this growth is the aging population and some current legislative changes to health care. The need for community health workers is already climbing due to healthcare costs rising. To avoid costly health treatments and direct people for a healthy life, insurance companies and governments continue to look for health professionals. In the coming decade, BLS predicts 9 health care occupations out of 10 to experience the highest growth in the health care sector.
