#Points to remember while applying for an Australian Scholarship

- The application process differs for each scholarship and majorly depends on which scholarship you choose. Sometimes you might have to apply for a university while going through a scholarship application, so basically both of your applications can be the same.

- Most of the scholarships are granted based on your previous academics and merit. So, you would be asked for detailed information on your prior education, scores in specific departments, extracurricular activities, etc. Also, English language requirements are an essential part while selecting students for scholarships.

- Sometimes these scholarships are only for international students from specific countries, so you need to provide a passport (and birth certificate) to prove your nationality

- You must start your research early and choose your scholarship well in advance. Because there is a lot of documentation involved while applying, so you need a good amount of time to arrange all the documents.

- You would also have to apply for a student visa by yourself and mention if any family member is traveling with you to Australia because the scholarship only covers funds of the student and not of his/her associates’.
